JCSO Deputy/K9 earn therapy certification

NORTH VERNON, Ind. - Jennings County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) Deputy Tyler Campbell and K9 Hurley successfully obtained their therapy certification on Tuesday, March 17.

With this certification, K9 Hurley is now equipped to assist in a variety of supportive roles, including responding to mental health crises, providing peer support, and offering comfort during child victim interviews and testimonies.

JCSO thanks Redemption Ranch K9 Rescue for funding this certification and Ridgeside K9 in Indianapolis for providing the training and certification for K9 Hurley.
