BROWNSTOWN, Ind. - The Jackson County Chamber will host its 4th annual "First Responders Appreciation Breakfast" on Friday, Oct. 23, at 8 a.m. at Pewter Hall in Brownstown.
All local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and corrections personnel are invited to the free event. Attendees should register by emailing info@jacksoncochamber.com.
The Jackson County Chamber Foundation is also accepting applications for matching grants of up to $500 per department to fund equipment or training that improves community life safety. Grant applications are due by Oct. 2, 2026.
"The First Responders Appreciation Breakfast allows us to show appreciation to the folks who serve our community with great commitment," said Dan Robison, Chamber Director.
